  • 200 grams of bicarbonate
  • 50 grams of soap in flakes
  • 25 drops of lavender essential oil
  • 15 drops of rosemary essential oil
  • 100 ml of vinegar
  • 500 ml of lukewarm water

  • Clean the wool rug with the classic bead carpet on both sides.
  • Pour into a bowl the baking soda and marshmallow soap.
  • Add the essential oils then mix well until you get a homogeneous mixture: make sure that there are no lumps of soap.
  • Spread the compound on the carpet.
  • In a bucket pour hot water and vinegar.
  • Wet a clean cloth, wring well then gently pass it over to the rug.
  • Let it work for about an hour then pass the beacon.

How to Clean Stains on Wool Rugs

Often carpets are subject to any kind of stain. If the stain is fresh, the vinegar method is always valid, even for the most obstinate.

  • If it is a stain of wine: Absorb liquid with absorbent paper, then pass with a wet cloth in a mixture of water and white vinegar and alcohol. Allow to dry.
  • If it is a stain of oil: absorb as much as possible the enamel with absorbent paper, then sprinkle with talcum and brush.
  • If it is a stain of coffee or chocolate: Peel with warm soapy water slightly soaked.
